<In the frame a Lucario stands, facing the crowd. His eyes are closed. Next to him is a surprised looking young girl dressed in a frilly dress and holding Sir Aaron’s sword, Marie “Mare” Birch. No sound can be heard except for the whispering of the crowd>

<The Lucario speaks, though it does so without opening its mouth. Telepathy. “Where… am I?” Its voice is gruff. “There are so many Auras. Including… him.” His voice is tinted with hatred. “I can sense him nearby but… there are too many Auras. Where is he! Where is Sir Aaron!” The camera shakes.>

<”Please calm yourself.” A voice form offscreen. The camera turns towards the voice as a man steps forward, dressed in what appears to be a modernized version of Sir Aaron’s outfit, Riley.> <”YOU!” The Lucario shouts. The camera doesn’t even have time to turn towards him before he rushes into frame, kicking Riley in the gut and knocking him to the ground. Despite his blindness he seems to have no trouble landing hits. The crowd parts before Riley can land on any of them. Riley turns to look at them. “Go! Run!”>

<The crowd scatters. Whoever is holding the phone runs, causing the camera to jostle around wildly. When the Camera finally steadies again, it is from a much lower angle and far enough away that every participant can be caught in the frame. Notably, Riley has managed to get to his feet. Whoever took the video appears to have hidden under a table.>

<”Hey! What the hell do you think you’re doing!” Mare shouts at the Lucario. The Lucario turns to look at her.> <”You…” He says. “Your Aura is strong. Stronger than anyone I’ve ever seen. Who are you?”> <”The name’s Mare Birch!” Mare shouts, pointing at herself despite the Lucario’s present blindness. “Now why are you attacking innocent people!”> <”Innocent?” The Lucario scoffs. “This man is far from innocent. He abandoned his kingdom and trapped me in that sword! He betrayed everything we ever fought for!”>

<”I don’t know what you’re on about but I’m not gonna let you hurt him!” Mare shouts. She tosses a Pokeball in the air and out comes her own Lucario, Kyoshi. She wears an armband inset with Lucarionite.>

<”If you protect him then you are my enemy.” The Lucario says.> <”I can live with that.” Mare replies.>

<The Lucario rushes forward at the same time as Kyoshi. They collide, knocking each other backwards. A Draconid girl wearing a dragonscale pauldron, dragonscale grieves, and dragonscale boots, Zinnia, runs up to Mare. “Need any help?”>

<Mare shakes her head. “No, I’ve got this. Just make sure everybody’s out of here.” Zinnia nod and hurries off.>

<The two Lucario clash for a bit. They seem to be evenly matched for a bit but eventually the unknown Lucario has Kyoshi on the ropes. Its at that point that two more combatants join the battles. The first is Mare herself, ripping off part of her dress for easier movement, and the second is Riley’s Lucario, Mosa. Mare runs at the Lucario with Sir Aaron’s sword. The Lucario catches the sword between its palms but this leaves it open to a Force Palm from Mosa. The Lucario recovers quickly and leaps upwards, flipping over its opponents and landing behind them. The three turn to face their adversary.> <”Three on one.” The Lucario growls. “Where is your honor?”>

&lt;”You lost your right to an honorable duel when you attacked an innocent man.” Kyoshi growls back.>

&lt;”He is NOT innocent!” The Lucario shouted. He begins to glow and is surrounded by a shell of energy. The shell shatters, the force of which knocks the camera out of the hands of the person holding it. As the camera falls a brief glimpse of a Mega Lucario can be seen. The video ends.>

Wednesday 100: Stable

Claire left the baby with Faith and Fergus before wrapping herself in a cloak. Snow blanketed the hills of Lallybroch and she could feel the mounds of dormant heather crunching beneath her as she followed moonlit footsteps nearly twice the size of hers.

“I thought I’d find you here,” she whispered as she ran a mittened hand up Jamie’s arm to his shoulder and gently squeezed. He nuzzled his cheek against the worn wool and she wasn’t sure if it was him or a stable cat that mewed.

“Aye, the mare is nearly there.”

“Then I’ll stay here with you.”

The King of Canada has been presented with a horse - Noble - from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The seven year-old mare - who stands at 16.2 hands high - is currently settling into life at The Royal Mews in Windsor.

His Majesty recently paid a visit to see Noble at the Royal Mews.

Chosen for her athletic ability and calm demeanour, Noble is a veteran of the RCMP’s Musical Ride and has participated in 90 public performances in 50 locations in Canada.

There is a long tradition of the RCMP gifting horses to the Monarch.

As for some things I'd like to talk about with the project— I've mostly been developing the Legends, so I'll talk about that!

Legendary pokemon operate similarly to how they do in my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon AU, The Present is a Gift.

Lugia and Ho-oh are ancient sweethearts engaged in a millenia-long courtship. They're sickeningly sweet and sappily romantic in their relationship.

Lugia governs the Bird Trio, which were gifts from Ho-oh. Ho-oh governs the Beast Trio, which were gifts from Lugia.

Lugia is feathery, as opposed to the more dolphin-like skin her species is usually depicted with in the source media.

Mew and Regigigas are close friends. Mew gets parenting advice from her after learning of Mewtwo's creation.

Alto Mare is the coastal town called home by the Eon Duo, and has a defense mechanism called the DMA that could be catastrophically dangerous if used incorrectly. The DMA is guarded by the firstborn child of each generation in a particular family. This guardian associates closely with Latios and Latias. A new guardian has recently been appointed, and Latias befriended the replacement right away. Latios, who was extremely close with the previous guardian, is much slower to warm.

The Lunar Duo are actually a single entity known by many names. She undergoes a grotesque transformation with the phases of the moon where she shifts between Darkrai and Cresselia's appearances. She tends to isolate herself, as when the moon turns dark her powers become uncontrollable and dangerous.

Heatran's body is constantly reforming underneath stoney armor due to its lavalike, impossible to contain nature.

There's a specific Legend responsible for our main character's friend disappearing along with everyone's memories of him.

The gala is over! We are rewinding time a little bit. It might be a tad bit confusing, but the plot page has been updated to show the difference in time progression.

Inari the Mew-in-disguise and their kids come to the stand for a bite to eat. While distracted with preparing for their meal, Kyurem stops by in a human disguise, dropping two relic statues on the countertop, which are worth a lot of money to collectors. However, both Ray and Rio freak out, and in a panic, Ray takes off with the statues away from Castelia City.

Act 2 - Second Night (Gala)

Rio attends a gala held by Lord Abbadon in the Snowpoint Mountains. She goes as Aki Tsuchiya, undercover as a rockruff from the local area in order to find more about the Kyurem who dropped the relic statues at her stand.

In addition to her goal, she attempts to return to a more chipper version of herself, one before her participation in the Kanto-Johto War. She finds herself struggling, often met with people who can see right through her heavy masking.

However, despite all of that, she walks away with new friends, including a Reshiram and a Ho-Oh. Perhaps even a Latias. However, she makes a slight slip-up when she drinks too much and has to abandon her main goal for the night.

Still, feeling bummed and drunk, she wanders the mountainside in deep thought until met with a Lucario named Kon. This Lucario acts extremely hostile, accusing Rio of a list of all of the things she did wrong at the Gala.

After a back and forth, Kon reveals himself to be a Latios belonging to the Order of Arceus, the Steward of the Snowpoint Mountains and threatens her with ending her life.

In response, Rio actually returns the threat and reveals herself to be a Latias of higher rank than Kon. It's revealed that her nickname is "Kingsbane" and that she is the Shepherd of the Western part of the Unovan Continent. She flies off, leaving Kon with a reprimand. Kon calls her a "Warmonger" underneath his breath.

Meeting A Magical Man Pt. 70

Marvin wasn’t sure how much time had passed, what time it was, or even if it was the same day anymore. What he did know was that he was home, sitting on his couch, and he was running his hand through Chase’s hair. Chase was asleep with his head in Marvin’s lap, mouth open with the occasional soft snore. Everyone was alive and healed physically, but the emotional exhaustion would have them done for a while. 

Mare and Mad were asleep on the other couch. They were both somewhat sitting up, with Mad turned toward Mare and hugging his arm as if fearful that Mare may leave in his sleep. Al was sprawled out across their laps, purring loudly and mewing in protest at any movement from the two. 

Phantom sat on a chair, looking like he wanted to sleep but refusing to until Jackie returned. Jackie was in the bedroom with Henrik and Edward. Henrik demanded to give everyone a look over after they arrived, saying that their magic meant nothing against his medical degree and turned the bedroom into a temporary doctor’s office of sorts. Jackie was the last to be checked since he refused to be seen until everyone else was. 

Wilford and JJ were in the kitchen making food. JJ insisted on doing so since everyone likely would be starving after waking up. Wilford went with it since it gave him something to do. 

Dark and Anti were in the bathroom getting cleaned up. Chase had been seen by Henrik and showered first, while Mare was healed by Wilford and JJ. Mare had a very colorful vocabulary before JJ numbed him. The others took their turns cleaning themselves after each round of doctor approval.

“Do you really think Actor’s done with all of us?” Phantom finally broke the silence in the room.  

“Honestly, I have no idea,” Marvin admitted. 

“His pride is more annoying than Dark’s.”

“But he loves Mike like Dark loves Anti. If Mike is anything like Anti, he might be able to convince him to back down.” 

“Who knows.” Phantom and Marvin looked at Mare when he started stirring. Al did his protest mew, and Mare stayed where he was. 

“What I miss?” Mare asked after clearing his throat. 

“If Actor’s going to come after us when he’s better,” Phantom said. “He waited a while before, and I’m sure he’ll be willing to do that again.” 

“Why did you stop Mad from killing Actor?” Marvin asked, the question suddenly hitting him. “None of us would judge him if he did. Hell, I’d buy him a drink to celebrate.” 

“Mad’s never killed anyone before. He can’t even step on an ant without feeling bad. What do you think taking another person’s life would do?” Mare looked down at Mad, blissfully unaware of the conversation, and slept peacefully. “I can still remember how I felt after my first kill. Watching the light leave the person’s eyes, the reek of their blood in the air, my entire body trembling with adrenaline, and then throwing up as soon as I was away from it all.” 

“I cried,” Phantom said. “I cried until I ran out of tears, and then I cried some more.” He chewed the inside of his cheek. 

“Henrik said I disassociated into auto-pilot for three days,” Marvin said, not remembering what he had been like after his first kill. “Even then, my auto-pilot wasn’t the best since I could barely eat or drink. I was lucky to have Henrik. I don’t think I would have recovered that well without him.” 

“It never gets easier. You just grow numb to it.” Mare started petting Al as he spoke. “I can’t have Mad go through that. He’s been through enough.” 

“Why are we all so sad and down in here?” Anti asked with a loud laugh, leaning over the top of the couch and hugging Marvin. 

“Why are you so chipper after what just happened?” Marvin asked back. 

“And shirtless?” Phantom added. 

“Too hot for a shirt,” Anti answered only the second question. 

“Did you and Dark fuck in my shower?” Marvin hoped his assumption was wrong, but he only got a tongue pop from Anti. “Oh my God, you fucked in my shower!?” 

“Did you have to tell them?” Dark sighed as he came into the room. 

“You fucked in my shower!?” Marvin pointed an accusing finger at Dark. 

“That’s not the exact word I would use,” Dark said. 

“If Chase wasn’t sleeping on me, I’d get the spray bottle.” Marvin huffed. 

“Get the bottle.” Chase had woken up from the first ‘you fucked in my shower’ and started to sit up to let Marvin move but was pushed back down by a hand on his chest.

“I’ll commit to the bit later, darling. You still need rest,” Marvin said with a soft smile. 

“Your lap is a nice pillow.” Chase chuckled.

“Shocked you’re not saying it’s Marvin’s ass since your dying words were about it.” Anti giggled.

“You talked about my ass while you were hurt?” Marvin asked with a laugh. 

“I talked about how much I like you, and the ass was a part of that.” Chase protested. 

“It is my greatest asset,” Marvin said with a grin.

“Boo!” Phantom cupped his hands around his mouth. 

“Huh? Wha?” Mad finally woke up after all the noise. “We booing?” He blinked and looked around, confused as his brain tried to catch up. 

“That’s adorable.” Anti teased. 

“Suck an egg,” Mad said. 

“Suck an egg!” Chase echoed with a loud laugh. “I taught him that!” 

“I’m so shocked.” Marvin chuckled. 

“I have a clean bill of health!” Jackie announced as he came into the room. 

“Clean enough.” Henrik corrected as he and Edward followed Jackie in.

“Mad told Anti to suck an egg!” Chase was still laughing.

“Fuck yeah, Maddy!” Jackie cheered. 

“Thanks?” Mad just went with it as he scratched Al’s head. 

“I’m glad you’re okay, Jackie,” Phantom said. Jackie stopped his cheer and smiled at Phantom, seeming to be thinking about something. 

“Well, now that we’re all fine. I think now’s the best time, or it’ll never happen.” Jackie walked over to Phantom. 

“What’s he going to do?” Mad asked in a whisper.

“You’ll see,” Mare whispered back. 

“Phantom Sharp.” Jackie went on one knee in front of Phantom, pulling the ring he had bought out of his pocket. “Will you marry me? For real this time?” Phantom held Jackie’s face and had the most adoring look in his eyes. 

“As if I haven’t said yes already, you goof,” Phantom said before kissing Jackie. 

“Woo!” Chase shouted his cheer and got everyone else to laugh. 

“Planning a wedding will be an interesting adventure for them.” Marvin chuckled.

Ainz: His team consists of Dusknoir, Ceruledge, Umbreon, Unown, Porygon Z (shiny) and Giratina. Dusknoir was his first pokemon (then a Duskull) and Giratina is his ace.

Albedo: Annihilape, Mienshao, Luxray, Gardevoir (shiny), Absol and Salazzle. Since Annihilape is her sole ghost type she treats it like her baby, since ghost types reminds her of Ainz.

Shalltear: Chandelure, Gliscor, Noivern, Drapion, Roserade and Gorebyss. All her pokemon are dressed up with various accessories.

Demiurge: Houndoom, Toxicroak, Banette, Claydol, Skarmory and Gogoat. Houndoom is always by his side though his secret favorite is his Gogoat since it reminds him of Ulbert.

Aura: All big and ferocious looking pokemon. Tyrantrum, Arcanine, Scolipede, Gyrados, Ursaluna and Tyranitar.

Mare: Half grass types, half absolute powerhouses. Cherrim, Lurantis, Tangrowth, Garchomp, Dragonite, Golisopod.

Cocytus: Froslass, Golurk, Kingambit, Aegislash, Escavalier and Heracross. They are all battle maniacs.

Sebas: Lucario, Indeedee, Cinccino, Drampa, Altaria and Bewear. They all help him with his butler duties.

Pandora's Actor: Ditto, Sableye, Cofragrigus, Gholdengo, Wobbuffet and Mew. The only NPC to have a legendary pokemon.

how did the latias who may or may not had a crush on ash react to his death?

I noticed you asked a lot of questions in quick succession, so I'm compiling them here :D

Latias has no bearings regardless of what happened. She lost one of her friends and one she cared for deeply, that loss is gonna cut in through any romantic feelings she may or may not have had for him.

She did not react well, I think i mentioned, that the Lege daries sort of go ape shit for a bit because of how tied in Ash was to the Legendaries. She may or may not have almost let Alto Mare drown in her sorrow.

Most of them don't care at all, It's hard to care when most of them are pokemon that can hide at will. The ones that do, dont really bother to peice it apart and back togethwr, Only try to play with him a little more roughly cause his body is better suited to handle playfighting.

Nope. No legendaries or Mythicals actually went because its a human custom moreso than anything.

I can see Mewtwo and Mew visiting Ash's pokemon later, but not during the funeral time.

Team rocket- technically yes but also no. They pray and send him off, but they dont leave Alola. Too mortified by what happened to their twerp to risk going back to Kanto.

I mean, His pokemon would feel a lot better knowing that their friend was still alive and kicking. But the whole Mystery Dungeons stuff doesn't apply here at all ^^'
